What is TRAQLINE?

TraQline is a quarterly survey of consumers that measures their purchases of consumer durable products. Products covered include Appliances, Electronics, Computers, Home Office Equipment, Tools, Lawn and Garden Equipment, and Home Improvement products.

TraQline provides Retailer and Brand shares / share trends. It also captures consumer purchase information surrounding the sale and categorizes it into 4 areas:

    1) What was purchased (e.g. product, brand features, etc.)
    2) Where it was purchased (e.g. retailer name, location, on line, etc.)
    3) Who purchased it (e.g. age, sex, married, race, etc.)
    4) How it was purchased (e.g. brands considered, stores shopped, close rate, gift, etc.)

This information provides a "real marketplace" view of a company's consumers, competitors, strengths, and weaknesses. It provides the data necessary to track and evaluate a company's strategies / programs.

Data Collection

TraQline uses the latest "all Internet" consumer survey techniques for purchase data collection. This collection method delivers the highest quality information while dramatically reducing reporting time.

Information Delivery

Reports are delivered within weeks after the quarter close. They are available from both a secured Internet Web site as well as from hard copy documents. The Internet assures access 24/7 by authorized personnel only, from any place in the world.

TraQline Data -- Your chance to listen to your buyers and competitors' buyers

TraQline information is the most valuable kind of information you can have because it captures what your buyers and your competitors' buyers actually purchased. You know how you stack up, and how your competitors stack up, with today's consumers. No need to hire consultants and spend money guessing what consumers think they might do. TraQline tells you exactly what they did.

TraQline Uses

Because of the richness and timeliness of this information it is valued by many corporate functions. The statistical reliability and repeatability of the objective information gives users a tool for making both strategic and tactical decisions. Current customers use the information in a wide variety of ways: product planning, merchandising tactics, brand awareness, mix analysis, brand performance, store performance, marketplace / competitive monitoring, performance measurement, and a tool to drive change.

You may find TraQline can replace other information gathering programs thereby providing more information for little extra expense.
